How to handle and store the flap disc?
1:All flap discs are fragile. They should be handled with care.
2:Flap discs should be stored on a flat, rigid surface, avoiding damp and frost or wide variation in temperature.
3:Use the oldest discs (on “first in, first out” basis).
How to fit the flap disc on the machine?
1:Follow carefully the instructions given in the machine handbook.
2:Never fit a flap disc which is too loose or too tight on the flange.
3:Align the outer flange correctly
4:Tighten only with the tool supplied with the machine.
5:Ensure the disc is properly gripped to prevent slippage, but do not tighten with excessive force. Never use a hammer.
6:Keep flanges and screw threads clean and free of burrs and rust.
7:Replace distorted or damaged flanges before fitting the disc.
How to protect yourself?

5:Never remove the protective machine guard and make sure it is properly adjusted to deflect debris away from you.

1:Before storing the machine or transporting it to another location, always remove the disc and store it as recommended.
2:Always carefully examine the flap disc for damage or defects, and destroy and discard if damaged.
3:Do not fit worn out discs on a smaller machine. Destroy them.
4:When disposing of worn out or defective discs, it is recommended to damage them to prevent someone from removing them from waste and re-using them.
